I So needed this....

Amazing fucking Fabulocity.

I skipped work today. could. I didn;'t have any clients, and i was in no mood for fishing. One guy called me, and Iw as like.. 2.5 hours in line with no chairs? it will cost you... and he cancelled so guilt free, and motivation free, i took a nap, woke up made some rice, then fell asleep during Mol Flanders, and got up to one of the most amazing fabulous events I've been to in a while. it was fresh it was fun, it rocked out. it is the long lost lovechild of the burlesque revival association.... and where this suceeds where the BRA folk missed is that there is a) more naked flesh, b) less acts that suck. and no damned puppetshows. c) intimate surroundings (read: naked girls up close! Fan-tastic. they had a art-noise-with a touch of digerido, and tibet in there, and then, some guy who did some beat poeting... he was only ok, but he did lauri anderson, and it gave me time to catch up on my drink...I bummed a cigarette from the cutest little JP dyke (assumption!) she was nice, and then they had some burlesque! yay! naked girls! and then they had a band, whein the promoter of the night player lead, and usuallly that is a recipie for disaster... but no so much... I was jammin' and I want to be thier groupie. really. i would like that. (They are called Mascara) then more naked girls!!!! then the eneded with a friggin 8piece calypso band. no shit. apparently usually they have 12 pieces... but 8 was impressive! Super rad... yummy drinks, and I got to see good folks before they went far far away, and all that was definately worth the price of admission. oh migosh. good good good. I'll go there again. yay.
