So Iàve been in Barga (http://www.barganews.com/gnomes/page2.html )(I cant code on this keyboard) for a few days now... and it is truely a charming little city.

Thus far, I have:

foraged a river

eaten really well

climbed more stairs than I did all last year,

did some sketching

talked a prinmaker to let me rent his studio for a month in his off season,

been completely amused by some tolkienesque Dungeons and Dragons Folk who ran around the cities freaking the mundanes and causing general havoc with ducttape weaponry in the medieval streets.

took a couple siestas

and this afternoon, I go to Lucca, and see what there is to see!

I am contemplating staying longer... if I am allowed... but perhaps I'll have to wait until next spring.
