weekend and something of a disguised list of things to do.

of course, it was raining... but it wasn't a big deal... i was offered a spot in a car... but i decidd to stay out and do spontaneously coreagraphed dances from "singing in the rain" whilst twirling my umbrella. But i was first in the line that mattered to me, so, i was able to get in and get out asap, and get home and back in bed. very exciting. Thank God I did it so I will not have to spend 8 hours in line tomorrow. So we went to the Mr./Ms. FLAG (Fits like a glove) contest, and oh my golly.. it was the most hilarious contest i had ever been at. bloody hilarious, and lighthearted and none of this "leather world peace" crap. Good friends won, we witnessed a bar fight, and voila. time for bed. then i managed to tripple bookmyself on sunday, and eneded up doing the American Pie/American Wedding thing (the longest standing engagement) and I laughed until I made myself ill... like horrible ill. that or it was the half cooked fried dough... so i came home and slept it off as best as i could. M. please don't hate me... it's too late to call you now!

The Mail art is going well. i like it. though i'm often in a position where I wasnt to recieve amazing things in the mail... or at least really nice things. Because all my really nice things have come from one person... there are a few good ones, and a good slab of god aweful. and with so much god aweful, it's really hard to uphold the socialistic tendency of mail art... when you send beauty out the world and keep getting cummy things back.

Ah well. perhaps I'll play the law of averages some more... it is nice to be creating in a "gee i don't have to store this" sort of way.... And i also decided that I'm going to build a desk. Especially if I'm going to create at home some more... I'm going to need some non-common area space. I hope to make an "L shaped" desk where my computer and artworking table stuff can live. Does anyone have any power tools? Any experience building for non level floors?

It will mean a complete revamp of my room,and my ded goes by the window, and the desk would go in the corner, and so i wouldn't look out the window while i work... which i might miss... but it's getting aweful cramped in here. I'd like to have the scanner on top of the desk, and have a "digital wing" and an "art wing" of the desk.

Good god I need to go through my shit.
