Hot house

The house is officially warmed.

It feels really really good to have a party of such blissful perfection and magnitude as a break in of this batch of bluehousers. All lovely people with lovely dancing and lovely semi-sober fun. And I had friends here... sometimes I get so shut-in like (an economic measure) that I forget that I have friends, whom I adore and who adore me back ... Its wonderful to get that re-affirmed from time to time and the added bonus is that my little sister showed up... (part of her east coast tour) and she saw me, In my element, as opposed to alone and lame in the presence of less than dot connected relatives... with MY FUCKING FRIENDS around me. I think she has a vision that i am continuting the loserdom of my highschool days... that I have no reason for living since her methods/mediums/ madnesses are not my path (or anywhere near it) This was the first time she saw me *HAPPY* and not "

gee thanks for the turtleneck I will never wear" happy. (turtlenecks don't show off the cleavage)

And I love my new roommate posse... and I even got to break my "holding a keg party" cherry. It feels like a 50 yr old virgin kind of thing,,, but holy fuck we have beer left over.

And I am still wired, even after cleaning the entire kitchen and packing up all the bottles and stuff...

So I'm going to lie down with the cat, and see if she'll let me sleep.
